The hottest new small block now available in a box

Whats Hot?

- 430 horse
- 376 cubes
- 24-month GMPP warranty

Starting with the '08 Corvette, the world was first introduced to GM's latest small block V8 creation – the 6.2-liter LS3. A continuation of the industry leading V8 engines from GM Powertrain, the LS3 kicks out 430 horsepower and 424 lb.-ft. of torque. (In the Corvette, those numbers go to 436 hp and 428 lb.-ft. of torque with the optional dual mode exhaust system.)

It's a brute of a small block with 376 ready cubes at your beckon call. The LS series of engines from GM Powertrain have broken new ground for efficiency and performance from a pushrod platform engine. The LS3 continues the engineering breakthroughs with revised cylinder heads featuring rectangle ports borrowed from the vaunted LS7. The heads feature 63 cc combustion chambers, 2.16-inch intake valves, and 1.59-inch exhaust valves. The camshaft features an aggressive .551-inches of lift on the intake side with less overlap (than the LS2) for even greater airflow and power.

Rocker arms with a 1.7:1 ratio sit on top of the heads. In the bottom end, the aluminum 6-bolts/main block features 4.06-inch bores and 3.62-inch stroke. A nodular iron crankshaft, powdered metal rods, and aluminum pistons (10.7:1 compression ratio) round out a rev-happy short block. Red line for the LS3 comes at 6600 rpm, and you will get there very quickly. With a high-tech GM foundation, aluminum block, and high flowing rectangular-port heads, the LS3 is the new standard in the small block world. The LS3 helps power the new Corvette to a top speed of 190 mph. What will it power you to?

LS3 + Hot Cam = Loads of Fun.

Whats Hot?

- Hot Cam!
- Big EFI Power
- 24-month GMPP warranty

The hot new small block V8 in the GM lineup is the hyper-aggressive LS3. It offers a high-revving 376-inch combination that represents generations of small block V8 development and engineering. Not only is the LS3 an amazing engine in its stock configuration, but with those high-flowing rectangular port cylinder heads, the LS3 is loaded with potential.

To tap into this potential, the engineers at GM Performance Parts offer you the LS 376/480 – an LS3 with an upgraded camshaft that ups power by a whopping 50 horsepower! The LS 376/480 comes with the same great features as the LS3 crate engine. The bottom end includes a 6-bolt aluminum block, nodular crank, high performance rods, and 10.7:1 pistons. The heads are high-flowing rectangular-port units that share their design with the amazing LS7. The same EFI intake manifold feeds the hungry engine, while 1.7:1 roller rockers work with the upgraded camshaft. The GM Performance Parts engineers picked the LS Hot Cam (p/n 12617570) to take the LS3 to the next level.

This cam specs out with .525-inch intake and exhaust valve lift. Duration (@ .050 inches) is 219° intake and 228° exhaust. This cam allows for a dramatic increase in power across the power band while still maintaining good street manners. The engine will idle and cruise just like an LS3, but the power increase is there whenever you need it. With all of the same great components as the LS3, but with an additional 50 horsepower, the new LS 376/480 is ready, willing, and able to answer your call for a new LS crate engine.

The LSX376 is Ready for Forced Induction! Boost on a budget! That's what you get with the new LSX376. GM Performance Parts takes the economical LSX Bowtie standard-deck block, adds blower-friendly 9.0:1 forged pistons and combines them with the LS3's high-flow heads to create an affordable foundation for supercharged and turbocharged combinations. We deliver the LSX376 without an intake manifold and other accessories to keep the price lower and enable the installer to tailor the induction system to suit the blower or turbo system.

Swap in the LSX376 in a vehicle originally equipped with an LS engine to give it a stronger bottom end for forced induction, or swap it into a street rod or classic muscle car body for a modern update. Our baseline horsepower and torque ratings are based on testing with the production-style, normally aspirated injection system. There's no telling how much power you can realize with a carefully tuned turbo or supercharger system!

The LSX376 valve covers do not include provisions for mounting the ignition coil brackets. Aftermarket or custom relocation brackets must be sourced.

A classic cubic-inch combination with the latest LS engine technology delivers around 600 hp! One of the most legendary engines in muscle car history is the Chevy 454 Big-Block. With the LSX Bowtie block, GM Performance Parts engineers were able to build a 21st century 454 with the latest technology - and it requires no more space under the hood than a production LS engine. It's perfect as the power plant for a late-model Camaro drag car or a high-tech retro-fit for a '70 Chevelle pro-touring machine.

The LSX454 is filled with an all-forged, super-tough rotating assembly and features a pair of our new, deep-breathing LSX six-bolt cylinder heads. It also comes dressed with great-looking, all-new orange powder-coated valve covers with engraved "LSX454" logos. GMPP delivers the LSX454 without an intake manifold and other accessories. LS376/525

#19301360

Regular - $10,755

Sale - $9,225

What do you get when you take Chevrolet Performance’s aggressive ASA camshaft — developed for the high-rpm world of circle-track racing — and slip it into an LS3 6.2L engine? The answer is 525 horsepower in one of our most powerful production-based crate engines. We call it the LS376/525, and if take-no-prisoner performance is what you’re looking for in your new Camaro or restomod Chevelle, this is it.

The ASA camshaft is a hydraulic roller with .525-inch lift on both sides, along with 226 degrees of duration on the intake side and 236 degrees on the exhaust side. Coupled with a tight, 110-degree lobe separation angle, it helps the engine deliver excellent throttle response and breathe exceptionally well at high rpm. And for durability, we complement the cam with higher-rate valve springs.

You’ll need tuning to make the most of the engine in a late-model GM vehicle. If you plan to use the LS376/525 in a vintage car, you’ll need the controller kit (P/N 19259261), which includes the throttle pedal to match its electronically controlled throttle body. Check out our LS1 Engine Kit Installation Guide (P/N 88959384) for details on installing an LS engine in a vintage vehicle.

LSA

#19331507

Regular - $14,325

Sale - $12,800

The Cadillac CTS-V’s 6.2L supercharged LSA engine delivers 556 horsepower with refinement that is rare in the world of high performance. It is smooth, quiet, and well-balanced — all while delivering breathtaking power.

A unique aluminum cylinder block casting houses a forged-steel crankshaft and super-tough reciprocating parts, integrated piston-cooling oil jets, and high-flow cylinder heads that support the airflow enabled by a 1.9L, sixth-generation supercharger with four-lobe, high-twist rotors. The advanced rotor design broadens the supercharger’s effective range, enhancing low-rpm torque and high-rpm horsepower.

Chevrolet Performance’s LSA 6.2L supercharged crate engine package comes fully dressed, from the top of the charge-cooled supercharger assembly to the ignition system, water pump, balancer, and more. It is a less costly alternative to the LS9 engine and makes a great transplant for any off-road LS-powered vehicle or pre-1976 car or truck. It also comes with conventional wet-sump lubrication system.

LS9

#19260165

Regular - $24,780

Sale - $23,250

Chevrolet Performance is thrilled to offer the LS9 6.2L supercharged in a fully dressed crate engine package that includes every one of the Corvette ZR1’s 638 horsepower.

The LS9 is a technological marvel. High-rpm-validated lightweight reciprocating parts, including titanium intake valves, are used along with high-flow cylinder heads that draw the charge forced on them by a sixth-generation supercharger. It has a high-helix (twist) design that helps the “blower” deliver greater power at the low end and sustains it longer through the rpm band for broad, on-demand power, whether off-idle or at speed.

Chevrolet Performance’s LS9 crate engine assembly includes the dry-sump oil pan and provisions for the charge cooler’s liquid cooling system. You’ll need an external oil tank, external coolant tank* (for the charge cooler), and ECU/wire harness to get the baddest production LS engine of them all up and running in your project vehicle. It also includes a nine-bolt crankshaft flange that may require an adapter for use with some transmissions.

If you want the baddest GM Performance Engine in Alberta, this is the ticket. This is sure to power whatever you have in the garage, and smoke the competition. Davis GM in Lethbridge is the place to go to get whatever you need installed on your ride. We are the Premiere Accessory specialists for GMC, Buick, and Chevrolet vehicles in Lethbridge, Calgary, Southern Alberta, and Canada.
