Replace your cracked Windshield.

Your windshield maybe more important than you think. Not only does your windshield allow you to see clearly while driving so you don’t need goggles like when the first vehicles were on the roads, it is a vital part of your vehicle’s structure. A crack or a large chip in the windshield can compromise the vehicle’s roof structure or cause an airbag to improperly work in a collision. The passenger side airbag actually uses the windshield as a backing for the airbag, a broken or cracked windshield could cause the windshield not to transfer the airbags force properly and cause injury to the passenger.
Did you know that in Alberta it is illegal to drive with a crack or chip in your windshield that is in the wiper path? The law enforcement can actually ticket you for operating your vehicle with cracks or chips.
